Our story
Fergus Engineering was established in 2024 by Thijs Peeters, an industrial engineer with over a decade of experience as an R&D manager in the laser cleaning industry. His time in dynamic and challenging start-up environments not only ignited a profound passion for engineering but also equipped him with invaluable insights into what succeeds, what doesn’t, and how these experiences can lay the groundwork for sustainable product design.
Uniting experts, challenging them, and maintaining their focus is the cornerstone of delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines. This philosophy drives Fergus Engineering's mission to address complex challenges in industries where technology and innovation are at the forefront.

The name 'Fergus' carries a deeper significance. In Gaelic, 'Fer' translates to 'man,' while 'Gus' symbolizes 'energy' and 'determination'—values that perfectly align with the core principles of our company:

- Boundless energy
- A thoughtful and purpose-driven approach
But there’s even more to the story. Coincidentally—or perhaps not—my two sons are named Ferre and Gust. They were the inspiration behind the name Fergus, making it not just a strong name with meaningful origins but also a heartfelt nod to the true driving forces behind my ambition.
In every sense, Fergus Engineering embodies life—both literally and figuratively.
