Our story
Fergus Engineering was established in 2024 by Thijs Peeters, an engineer with over a decade of experience as R&D manager in the laser cleaning industry. His time in dynamic and challenging start-up environments not only ignited a profound passion for engineering but also equipped him with invaluable insights into what succeeds, what doesn’t, and how these experiences can lay the groundwork for sustainable product design.
Uniting experts, challenging them, and maintaining their focus is the cornerstone of delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines. This philosophy drives Fergus Engineering's mission to address complex challenges in the defence & security industry where technology and innovation are at the forefront.

The name Fergus carries a deeper meaning. In Gaelic, Fer means “man,” while Gus stands for “energy” and “determination” — qualities that reflect the very foundation of our company.
