Controlled High Energy Laser (HEL) power delivery enables the neutralization of Class 1 aerial threats by focusing energy on mission-critical components (e.g., sensors, propulsion, control). Closed-loop engagement helps deliver precise, repeatable effects aligned with the operational context and rules of engagement.

By over-illuminating the drone’s sensors, FPV and autonomous systems lose the ability to acquire and track targets. Our HEL can permanently disable the camera when required, or deliver a temporary blinding effect when a non-destructive response is preferred—preventing the drone from continuing its mission.

We believe many C-UAS platforms are already proven—and many integrators are highly capable. What’s been missing is practical access to HEL capability. Instead of competing, Fergus delivers an integration-ready laser effector that makes that upgrade real. We operate as your enabler to this technology: beyond standard configurations, we’re open to modifications that fit an integrator’s requirements and platform constraints. 

High-Speed & High-Precision

Fergus’ effectors use a unique beam-steering approach built for rapid, accurate engagement.

Imagine this: a threat is detected at 1 km. The beam is steered onto the target at over 4,000 km/s and can be placed with sub-centimeter accuracy. That combination—speed plus precision—changes what’s possible when seconds matter, especially in swarm-like, high-tempo scenarios.

 

Compact. Mobile. Scalable.

By combining advanced capability with industrial, field-proven components, we keep the effector and laser-source housing as compact as possible. Unlike container-sized 50–100 kW systems, Fergus integrates up to 10 kW, significantly reducing cooling requirements, weight, and overall footprint. The result is a solution that can be mounted on UGVs, pick-ups, or tripod-based systems.
